Review of the HeightsDuring my recent stay at the Heights, I was hopeful for a seamless experience, considering its reputation. I encountered a mix of positives and negatives. The bar area was consistently lively, and the accessibility of free Wi-Fi in public areas was appreciated. the lack of heating in the dorms proved uncomfortable, especially during night hours. The bathrooms left much to be desired, with issues that detracted from the overall experience. While the lodge offers a variety of amenities, it felt overpriced for what was provided; similar or superior accommodations are available elsewhere at more reasonable rates. For those seeking adventure in the breathtaking surroundings, the Heights is functional, but guests may find better value and comfort in other options. As an eco-tourism advocate, supporting sustainability in trekking lodges is essential; I recommend assessing value carefully when making your choice.
